13.10. Of Desire for Ideas and the Cause of Suffering
Controverted Point: That the natural desire for objects of mind is not the Cause of Suffering.
Theravādin: What reason have you for dissociating this form of craving from the other five? If you admit that a craving for objects of sight, sound, and so on, is immoral, you must admit as much concerning the co-ordination of these as ideas (percepts or images).
