A rājā, probably of Māgadha. He was a devout follower of Uddaka-Rāmaputta. In his retinue were Yamaka, Moggalla, Ugga, Nāvindakī, Gandhabba, and Aggivessa, all of whom were also followers of the same teacher. AN.ii.180f.
