A lay disciple of the Buddha at Nādikā, one of those, who, after their death, were declared by the Buddha, in answer to a question by Ānanda, to have destroyed the five orambhāgiya fetters and to have become inheritors of the highest heaven, thence never to return. DN.ii.92 SN.v.358f.
