LumbineyyaLumbinī

A park situated between Kapilavatthu and Devadaha. It was there that the Buddha was born. In the Sutta Nipāta Snp.683 it is stated that the Buddha was born in a village of the Sākyans, in the Lumbineyya Janapada.
