A Yakkha who helped Anāthapiṇḍika to find the Buddha at Sītavana.Vin.ii.155f. SN.i.211 He is mentioned among the chief Yakkhas to be invoked by followers of the Buddha in time of need. DN.iii.205

A monk whose Theragāthā verse says his preceptor, Vanavaccha, asked him to go from here, and that though his body dwells in the village, his mind is in the forest. Thag.14
